The Overwatch team is back with a brand-new animated short ‘In the Wolf’s Mouth’, showing the final confrontation between Doomfist and Vendetta. Of course, some members of Overwatch and Talon are present during the battle and its direct aftermath. Following the previous season where it seemed like Talon was over, now it’s back and even more menacing.
The organization got a new member as well, a proper vampire-like support. Loss shaped his life, his philosophy, and eventually the technology he used to keep himself and his brother alive. That same technology would ultimately condemn him to Grímsvötn, where years without his drones took their toll. Then an old friend came knocking. Doomfist has freed Doctrine, and some history refuses to stay buried.
“It’s Doomfist vs. Vendetta in the final confrontation for control of Talon. After a year of shifting loyalties and ruthless ambition, the Reign of Talon ends here. Witness it all in our newest animated short, “In the Wolf’s Mouth.” And as the Reign of Talon comes to an end, a new beginning is on horizon. Stay tuned for even more in Overwatch Season 5: A Grim Doctrine today.”
