1 Min ReadImage via CD Projekt RedCD Projekt Red and Blizzard have entered a new business partnership, which starts with bringing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered to Battle.net next month.
Announced yesterday by the respective companies, the remastered rendition of the acclaimed RPG, which releases on September 29, will be joined by the upcoming expansion, Songs of the Past, next year.

"Bringing these games to Battle.net is just the beginning of our partnership with Blizzard," reads the announcement by CD Projekt Red.
On Blizzard's side, Diablo IV will feature a themed cosmetic skin after Geralt of Rivia, protagonist of The Witcher series. This will be available for people who purchase the expansion via Blizzard's store.
CD Projekt Red is returning to The Witcher 3 after years placing its attention on Cyberpunk 2077, which has sold 40 million copies since launching in December 2020. Despite the milestone, the company laid off nine developers early this month, which were working on a Witcher multiplayer game codenamed Project Sirius. Meanwhile, another nine have been invited to apply for roles on different projects.
CD Projekt hasn't confirmed whether the partnership will also extend to The Witcher IV and the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 in the future, which are currently in development. The companies are set to share more details about their newfound partnership at Blizzcon 2026.
